San Antonio Bexar Necessities Lions are excited to host Roaring for Hope, a gala fundraiser for the Roy Islas Memorial Fund. This fund was established to honor Roy Islas, the brother of our President, who passed away in 2021 from testicular cancer. Roy’s heartfelt wish was to support others facing the same financial barriers he did during his battle.

The Roy Islas Memorial Fund aims to provide crucial support to cancer patients, helping cover unforeseen expenses not typically covered by insurance and other resources. Our goal is to offer financial relief so that families can focus on their fight against cancer.
