Our annual Texas Lions Camp Picnic which is under the sponsorship of the Edgewood Lions Club but, a joint effort of many of the District 2-A2 Clubs.  We have continued to grow in a manner where we can truly “SERVE” the campers as they begin their week at TLC. This year, our group has been selected to serve later in the Camping schedule so we have the opportunity see how we compare with other Lions from around Texas and as always, I know each of you will bring your best and raise the bar of service to a new high for the campers and counselors to enjoy and for all to remember.

Together, you have made it the success that it has become and I thank you for that and look forward to joining you again as we finish our 2018 – 2019 year on a high note and re-energize our efforts for the year(s) to follow. This is also a great opportunity to highlight the services of the Texas Lions Camp to our new or prospective members and show them how we meet the needs of children in our own communities through these services. Proposed to leave San Antonio at 3:00 pm and arrive at the Camp by 4:00 pm.  For those who would like to, PCC Mike Rourke  has arranged to have a tour of the Camp and the facilities.  This will take approximately 45 – 60 minutes.

Each club will have to notify PCC Mike Rourke of the number of members and/or guests who would like to take the tour so we can make the necessary arrangements.
