Now more than ever, we’re so grateful for the community that has funded, volunteered, celebrated, and advocated for the La Vernia Lions Club through the years. As we continue to adjust to our post-COVID new normal, we find comfort and encouragement knowing that you care about our cause.

All of the money raised in this year’s golf tournament will be returned to the community in the form of scholarships for graduating high school seniors, food and monetary donations to the local food pantry, school supplies for needy students, monthly bingo at the local nursing home, vision and eyeglass support for the visually impaired, and sponsorships for area children so that they may attend, without charge, the Texas Lions Camp for children who have physical disabilities, hearing/vision impairments, cancer and Type 1 diabetes from the State of Texas, regardless of race, religion, or national origin.
