2025-2026 Opportunities for Youth Contests

Texas Lions provide a variety of programs to encourage youth participation in issues facing society today. Through its contests at the club level, the district level and ultimately the state level, students can research and gain knowledge on various social ramifications of both diabetes and substance abuse. These contests provide youth an opportunity to share leadership experiences and to make a difference in their school and community.

The Texas Lions’ Opportunity for Youth sponsors three main contests during the year. A student may enter multiple contests as long as they meet the qualification requirements for each. In District 2-A2 we also have a Young Women’s Scholarship Pageant.

Important Dates

The deadline to postmark all applications is Monday, March 16, 2026

Orientation: Saturday, March 28, 2026 – Via Zoom

Young Women’s Scholarship Pageant: Friday, April 10, 2026 – In Person – Eagle Pass, Texas
